Meetings are normally held between 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on three predetermined dates per year at the Argosy Casino in Kansas City, MO.  Each meeting includes a regulatory update from either ATFE, MO or KS Fire Marshal's Office; followed by a segment from our approved Blaster's Training Class and a featured speaker presentation which will highlight unique or historical blasting projects or blasting product updates. 

All attendance is monitored and all attending chapter members will received certification valid for 2 hours of approved continuing refresher training for both MO and KS Fire Marshal's Office (other state approvals presently being requested).  Each training meeting is followed by a brief social hour in which attendees will be able to interact with other blasters and members of the explosives community. 

AUGUST 16 Meeting:

3:00 p.m. Blaster Training: David Creek "Always and Nevers"

3:45 p.m. Featured Speaker: Doyle Newhouse "Air-Decking for Pre-Split"

4:30 p.m. Regulatory Training: ISEE Trivia Game

5:30 p.m. Social Hour - Cash Bar & Hor d'oeuvres
