Life Cycle Cost Analysis  - Todd LaTorella, P.E., Executive Director, MO/KS Chapter, ACPA

Whether we recognize it or not, we all consider life-cycle-cost (LCC) or “cost of ownership” when making our everyday purchasing decisions, especially the large and important ones; so, it only makes sense that we would want to use this kind of analysis when making our roadway investments.   Learn how to perform an LCC analysis to help make the “best” decision for your local street, road, and parking lot projects.

Pavement Thickness Equivalents  - Todd LaTorella, P.E., Executive Director, MO/KS Chapter, ACPA

Evaluating pavement alternatives for a project is an important part of determining the “best” pavement solution for a project.  One of the critical factors in this process is designing “equivalent” pavement sections to be compared.  Learn why comparing equivalent sections is important and how to design pavement alternatives with equivalent design lives and/or performance.
