Welcome Amanda Schuster
KAPA and KRMCA WELCOMES NEW ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR
Amanda Schuster is welcomed by the Kansas Aggregate Producers’ Association and the Kansas Ready Mixed Concrete Association as the new Administrative Coordinator.
“I am very excited to serve this position. I can’t wait to show everybody what I can do through all the company’s productions and day to day operations,” said Schuster.
Originally from Russell, Kan., Schuster moved to Topeka five years ago. She is a graduate from Washburn University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her emphasis consists of public relations and graphic design. Her experience includes the production of many publications including Indigo magazine, the Kaw Yearbook, and other general brochures, newsletters and web sites.
Schuster comes to our association with high recommendations as the previous Director of a non-profit foundation as well as the recipient of several awards and honors throughout the years. This includes scholarships, leadership awards and being named Washburn Universities Outstanding Student in Mass Media.
Schuster also spent some time as an intern at Heartland Park Topeka in their Media Relations department.
“I really enjoyed the time I spent there. I had the opportunity to experience a lot of different things in the media industry, which will really help me with the same tasks that I will be performing as the Administrative Coordinator,” said Schuster.
In her free time, Schuster enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and shopping.
