Monarh Cement Celebrates 100th
On Saturday, May 31st, The Monarch Cement Company will hold a public open house in celebration of 100 years of cement manufacturing. There will be guided tours between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, of the manufacturing facilities and the recently expanded general office. Lunch will be served between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Monarch is located just off Highway 169 at the south city limits of Humboldt KS. Monarch employs 163 people at its facilities in Humboldt and an additional 460 at its subsidiaries in Kansas, Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri and Oklahoma. We welcome you to visit us on May 31 and join in our celebration.
