2009 Golf Tournament Another Success!
Recap of the 2009 Annual KCI Birdie Bash Golf Tournament and Thanks to all of our sponsors and prize donors.

On Thursday, October 1, over 100 members and associates participated in the annual Kansas Construction Industry Birdie Bash golf tournament. Despite the few sprinkles that lingered in the morning hours, the day turned out to be quite pleasant. Golfers paired up in a 4-person scramble for the tournament and also participated in several other contests. Following the tournament, everyone gathered for a barbeque and the announcement of awards. Prizes were awarded for three flights (1st, 2nd & 3rd), longest drive, closest to pin, longest putt, hole-in-one and a dead ass last prize.
The annual golf event benefits the Kansas Construction Materials Advancement Fund with the purpose of educating Kansas about the importance of the mineral industry and its role in the economic well being of the state.
